Meet Speaker

The Student Success Network is a mentorship program that was founded by driven college student, Khalyn J and international speaker, Odell Bizzell II. Khalyn J wanted to expand her horizons and pitched herself to Odell at the National Conference of Student Leadership in 2019. After meeting one time, Odell and Khalyn J went into mentorship and 1.5 years later established TSSN.

The story behind this platform is a powerful example of self and network mastery as a pre-professional. TSSN’s mission is to mentor students on how to climb the ladder in their fields through self and network mastery. The Network’s interactive and practical mentorship allows students to gain momentum in their personal and professional lives before college graduation.

TSSN provides mentorship session/keynotes, workshops, and The Student Success Digital Workbook where the students master their learning objectives.

Pitch your Prime: Strategize to Magnetize your Network Workshop I Keynote I Customizable to Audience Needs

Networking is a crucial skill to learn during the collegiate experience. However, most students struggle to initiate conversation with employers, develop relationships at career fairs, or market themselves verbally for interviews and more! Once students are clear on their vision for their career and have begun the inner work with Plan your Prime; then they can perform the outer work through this workshop’s guidance on networking with potential professional allies. Students will leave this session with the “Power Plan” to determine who to target along with a “Power Pitch” to know what to say. These tools enhance their networking toolkit, a replicable strategy that aids pre-professionals in marketing their vision to the right people that can invest in their professional success to climb the ladder.
